Amr Yakout

Amr Yakout is a Fritz Family Student Fellow (Policy and Law) at the Knight-Georgetown Institute.
Amr recent completed his first year as a Master of Public Policy student at Georgetown University’s McCourt School of Public Policy, where he is focusing on emerging technology and economic policy, specifically AI governance and competition policy.
Prior to starting at Georgetown, he was a Program Manager at Amazon, working on payment services and Fintech. He also briefly worked as an Economic Development Research Assistant at NYU Abu Dhabi, where he got his Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics and Economics.
