KGI welcomes Claire McCrea as Operations Associate
In June 2026, KGI welcomed Claire McCrea as Operations Associate. Claire provides operational support to KGI, the Center for Digital Ethics, and the Institute for Technology Law & Policy.
The Knight-Georgetown Institute is pleased to welcome Claire McCrea as Operations Associate. Drawing on her extensive operations and administrative experience, Claire provides support for people operations, internal and external communications, event management, budgeting, administration, procurement, and contracts. She also provides operational support for the Center for Digital Ethics (CDE) and the Institute for Technology Law & Policy (Tech Institute).
Claire specializes in complex budget management and major event logistics for non-profit organizations. She also brings to KGI her experience in streamlining operational workflows through strategic process improvements.
Prior to joining KGI, Claire served as a Senior Coordinator for Capital One’s Diversity, Inclusion, & Belonging team and as well as an Editorial Planner at Radio Free Asia (RFA). She received a B.A. in International Studies and East Asian Studies from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore and an M.A. in International Relations from Johns Hopkins SAIS in Washington, D.C.
