Beau is the Operations Manager of the Knight-Georgetown Institute (KGI), the Center for Digital Ethics, and the Institute for Technology Law & Policy at Georgetown University. Prior to joining KGI, they worked as an Operations Manager for a restaurant group in the DC Metro Area. They spearheaded the daily operations of multiple businesses, updating their systems and training their staff to be technology oriented. Beau oversaw project management, the opening of new restaurants, vendor relations, and budgeting. Beau fostered a positive and inclusive work environment leading the human resources department.
Prior to serving as an Operations Manager, Beau worked as an administrator for several businesses in the Richmond, VA and DC metro areas, handling bookkeeping, employee training, and company communications. Beau graduated from the College of William & Mary in 2020 with B.A. in Religious Studies, focusing on Ancient Near Eastern history and texts. While attending school, they worked as a videographer for the university’s News and Media department and as a freelance photographer.
