Ashima Singh is a student assistant at the Knight-Georgetown Institute, where she provides key communications and administrative support to the team. She is currently pursuing a Master of Public Policy at Georgetown University’s McCourt School of Public Policy, with a deep focus on technology policy. Prior to her graduate studies, Ashima worked at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, India, as both a research assistant and program coordinator. There, she contributed significantly to research on the U.S.-India initiative on Critical and Emerging Technology (iCET). Ashima also played a pivotal role in organizing Carnegie India’s Global Technology Summit, an annual flagship event co-hosted with the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India. The summit gathers leading policymakers, industry experts, scientists, and global stakeholders to explore the intersection of technology and geopolitics.
